YSC Fellowship

  • Participate in exclusive fellow workshops at the YSC in Munich at the Amerkahaus and other online and in person events until Spring of the following year.

  • Lead and advance the debate on EU Foreign and Security Policy on a variety of topics from EU enlargement, to nuclear weapons, post-war Ukraine, NATO and Transatlantic alliances.

  • Contribute to a youth led publication series that will be developped throughout the closed workshops at the YSC and with the support of experts in the field.

  • Network with and receive mentorship from leading scholars and experts in the field during the closed fellow sessions and throughout the year long programme.

  • Receive up to €400 to attend the YSC in Munich.

Become a #YSC2024 Fellow

The YSC Fellowship is a unique opportunity for young professionals, graduate students, and post-docs to come together with high-ranking officials and experts in the field of European security.

Through interactive workshops and sessions, fellows will engage in critical dialogue on the most pressing challenges facing Europe today, with a focus this year on the EU's Common and Foreign Security Policy (CFSP) and its role in shaping the future of the continent.

Partner sessions for Fellows

The YSC is proud to partner with the Nuclear Knowledges Programme at SciencesPo Paris funded by European Research Council and the European Commission.

2023 YSC fellows had the unique opportunity to participate in three closed workshops at the YSC, led by Dr. Benoit Pelopidas, Director of Nuclear Knowledges at SciencesPo Paris, and to contribute to a youth-authored publication on nuclear weapons.
